The Small Mid Twist is similar in performance to the Mid Twist, with a 5mm narrower blade and 20 cm2 less surface area (approx. 3% less) than the mid-size paddle, making it the smallest wing blade in the Epic lineup. The Small Mid Twist is a good choice for smaller experienced paddlers wanting a technically superior wing paddle, and it is especially ideal for long-distance racers.
With several years in development and testing, the Twist is a totally unique, original paddle blade design. The Twist blade enters close to the boat during the catch phase, then flows outward naturally during the power phase of the stroke and exits smoothly. No additional effort is required to create optimal flow of the paddle.
