Carbon UDi Technology
Lightweight anti-deflection UD carbon tapes run inside the entire leading edge for additional support, resulting in an even stiffer, more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster.

Neutral Lift
Optimised draft position and depth for user-friendly neutral lift through all angle of attack changes, fewer adjustments in hand positioning and a lighter feel for effortless transitions.

Balanced trailering
Less lift generated by the tips reduces the wing’s sensitivity to oscillation and helps to maintain a stable, neutral position when trailering, riding downwind swells, surfing, or walking.

Radiate geometric panel layout
Radial load diffusers reinforce the end of the strut and the wingtips, distributing tension more evenly in defined load directions for a cleaner canopy with less distortion and reduced drag.

N-X6 Trailing Edge Panels
Durable, lightweight, low-elongation N-X6 panels provide greater TE tension, dampen flutter and help to create a cleaner release with minimal drag. 2025, panels extend further up wingtips.

Uniquely shaped dihedral
The profile depth, outline and airframe stiffness are optimised for maximum power, and the dihedral helps stabilize the wing, for easy handling and user-friendliness across a wider wind range.

Wide-Angle Window Positioning
The strategic positioning of the new longer, dual LiteVision windows helps you see further downwind, improving safety on the water while keeping weight to a minimum.

GripLock Carbon Boom
We’ve pre-installed a lightweight, high-strength carbon boom handle with soft EVA grip for better control and less hand fatigue, reducing overall weight for faster, more reactive handling.

Comfort Knuckle Guard and tow handle
Larger, water-resistant, moulded-EVA knuckle guard under the more rigid front tow handle protects your fingers from abrasion when depowering. Features integrated wrist leash attachment point.

Dual HyperFlow Inflation Valves
A separate LE valve and Strut valve, with an interlinking hose and clip, enable you to inflate the strut to a higher pressure than the leading edge, and to inflate/deflate your wing quickly.

Lightweight Bladders
We’ve chosen a lightweight bladder material and strategically double-layered it in load-bearing areas such as handles, valves, nose, and wingtips for reinforcement.

Durable light Dacron Airframe
Strong inflated structures for less deflection, movement, and a stiffer frame. Triple-layered reinforcement in the strut-to-LE connection provides a clean, undisturbed shape under load.

Kevlar Strut Connection
A biaxial kevlar layer provides internal strength and reinforcement to the XL-T joint connection. It is bias-cut to flex around the curvature of the strut, with a tight and accurate fit.

SS316 Swivel Wrist Leash
Your Nova is supplied with an elasticized webbing wrist wing leash with swivel, for fast, safe wing retrieval. A North Wing Waist Belt and QR Board Leash can be purchased separately.
