If you've rented a kayak from us this year here is your guide for picking up your gear, making adjustments, and dropping it off. If you have questions call us or email 360-794-1688 or sales@pacificnorthsports.com.
Kayak Pickup Procedures:
We will leave a trailer with the rental kayaks and your name on your boat at the kayak safety inspection on Saturday May23th (12pm-6pm). This is the location of the inspection so you can pickup your boat and walk it through inspection with your race number. The boat will have a leash installed on it so you will only need to bring your bib number, PFD, and whistle to pass inspection. This safety check is manditory for all kayak paddlers and once through inspection you can leave the kayak in the post inspection area overnight so it is ready for you on race day. All kayaks are guarded by the boyscouts overnight. The safety check this year will take place from 12pm-6pm on Saturday May23th and the trailer will be at Zuanich point park for you to pickup and take through inspection.
If you need a wetsuit with your rental, we have them...and they can be sized and pickedup at the store. 1211 Granary Ave Suite 155 Bellingham, WA 98225 at any time. We are open Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm.

Kayak Return Procedures
After the race you will walk/carry the rental boat to the trailer which will be parked as close as possible to the race finish near the ferry terminal parking. Just place the boat on the trailer and take a picture with your phone. Paddles, Pfds, and wetsuits can be left with the boats on the center area of the trailer or returned to the shop during business hours.
