The Rome kite is Ocean Rodeo 3 strut Foil / Surf kite Chris (after getting on it myself I say it's a great all around kite for first time riders all the way to the high end foil guy looking to get out on the water when all others are stuck on the beach).
The Aluula material is the hottest thing in kites in over 20 years as it makes the kite less then half the wight of your Dacron kites and (when I grabbed the kite for the first I thought it was a trainer kite not a 10M it was so light weight). It's is 50% Stiffer leading edge so they can make the leading edge half the size which make the kite more efficient through the air and as the winds get stronger the kite will holed it's shape making it a joy to fly. It's 20X more tear resistance and makes the kite the best kite for the surf.
My thoughts: This kite is awesome and is something we have needed for the sport for some time now. I feel this is the right kite for the people that have been looking for a lighter kite to fly in light winds or have the strongest kite to play in the waves and some that did't know they where and it's my hope that this can be come the new standard in kite material for the travel weight you can bring more kites with you for the weight savings, smaller leading edge it's faster and easier to pump up.
